A Word From Just Duléa
Hello everyone, my name is Ajewole aka Just Duléa and I am the founder of and Creative Director for Conviction 2 Change Publishing LLC. As you engage with my work, you will see that I am passionate about justice for the oppressed, disenfranchised, and forgotten. I am also passionate about spirituality and Afrocentric thought and practice. Through my spoken, written, (and sometimes sung) words, I intend to shed light and share experiences pertaining to all of these. I don't believe in watering things down, and so I will do my best to be as transparent and honest with you as I can. As I strive to be my most authentic self, I encourage you all do to the same.
My objective with Conviction 2 Change Publishing is to help provide a platform for those in traditionally marginalized groups to allow their voice to be heard. It is in doing this that I have begun to really find my voice as a writer, poet, & musician. That being said, I don't believe in just changing communities through the written and spoken word, I believe in changing mindsets. I enjoy seeing stereotypes being broken and challenging closely held beliefs. It gives me great joy to cause people to think beyond the superficial, even if only for a moment. Together we are going to find our voices, think deeply, and maybe even experience new levels of freedom!
